Alvar is by far one of my favorite characters in this industry. He originally hails from Spain but now lives and works in Berlin Germany.

With tattooing still being his main focus he also has been focusing more towards fineart paintings in the last years. Pouring countless hours of hard work into figuring out the dirtly little secrets that it takes to conjure up nightmares with pen and brush. Highly influenced by subcultural and counter culture movements, he brings back part of the visual abuse he’s got from his extended narrative art book collection filled with early fantasy , underground bootlegers, metal and punk cover artworks and obscure movie posters. All of his compositions pay unapologetic homage to all these influences while pushing boundaries at the same time.

The results are energetic pieces full of detail and aggression that shows real passion for his art.
